To promote the launch of Mega Man 9 last September, Capcom used two soundtracks and an energy drink as promotional items.
The first CD will include all of the original 8-bit recordings created for the new game, 35 tracks in all, and will see release on September 12. A second compilation, this time featuring arranged versions of the game’s soundtrack, will hit stores October 10.
This is called Megaman E-Tank Sports Drink.
The can looks like an E-Tank, so it did not serve only as promotional items for the event launch but also a collectors item! You can buy this beverage in all major convenience stores in Japan for 137 yen or $1.25 USD. A must have for every Megaman or Rockman fan!
